Report a translation problem
The hardware should be able to handle it easily though. I have a MBP from 2011 or so that does it fine other than a bit of stuttering during cutscenes.
The results were on par with the macbook air:(
Windows : Smooth as can be.
OSX: Lags and slowdowns en masse
It is not an issue I have encountered with other games on osx. I suspect that either the mac port of DD has a massive potential for optimizations/fixes or the Steam DRM is seriously messing things up.
The red hook team seems to be busy with DD2, which in all likelyhood means that getting the issue fixed is unlikely:(
Inversely, I've never had performance issues with a 2010 iMac for DD.
That sounds about right, I've had exactly the same issue with other games, resolved in the same way.
