If CC is better to activate later, is it the same for colour of madness or colour of madness can be even activated from the start ?
Activating CC when you already finished the main campaign is detrimental to the overall experience of the dlc ?
i have never tried adding the DLC mid campaign, only adding it at the beginning and then never doing the first quest of CC to prevent vampire from spawning.
You can enable them all mid-run if you wish, but they're all designed to be played from the beginning, so not only will it be experienced a bit off-kilter, but also throw a lot more to learn in the process.
Color of madness is more challenging in the sense of ongoing combat testing your party's longevity, but it's creatures are contained and you can use a unique loot from there to buy an impressive selection of class specific trinkets.
