Bloodmoon or stygian?

I'm not too fond of these kinds of punishing game modes but you know...achievements...so I'm planning to start a bloodmoon/stygian run sooner or later. The question is, which one is easier? And which DLCs do you recommend enabling? CC comes with good trinkets and character but bloodsuckers suck lol. I have every dlc but the musketeer btw

Seeing as how they have almost the same difficulty modifiers, I'd say to do Bloodmoon. Biggest differences is that Stygian only gives you 86 weeks to beat the game, will end your run after 12 deaths, but you won't have to deal with the Crimson Court. Bloodmoon is slightly more forgiving, with 100 weeks and 16 deaths, but the Crimson Curse will become something you need to juggle.

As for DLC's, Bloodmoon requires you to enable CC, automatic skip for Stygian. CoM has some decent trinkets and doesn't use up a week, once you get to the endless mode. Plus, space cocaine is stronk for character's like MaA. No reason to skip the Districts, it's nice getting the additional buffs for your heroes.

For character classes, Flagellant is just too good to pass, definite must have. Shieldbreaker is one of my favorite classes, but if you suck at managing her nightmares like me, you can probably skip her. Musketeer is free dlc, so you can download her at your leisure. However, she is essentially just Arbalest with gun and her trinkets could take up spaces on the map from other trinkets you may want more, up to you if you want an additional challenge.

Oh I was kinda afraid of bloodmoon because my one run that had CC enabled from the start took me long enough even in darkest difficulty. And I suck at managing the curse...but oh well. Def gonna check it out! Thanks a lot!
