Mods on Epic Games?
So, I got Darkest Dungeon free on Epic Games. I downloaded a mod from Nexus (new skins), unpacked it and put in it the "mods" folder of Darkest Dungeon. I start the game and nothing is showed in DLCs (where it should according to me. Am I doing something wrong?

You should have blue hammer next to dlc button.

It only shows the DLC that came with the game, nothing else.

1) Find where you installed Darkest Dungeon in Epic
2) Go to the "mods" folder
3) Extract the mod into the folder each mod should be its own folder
4) You should see a blue hammer icon

5) Click it and you can then enable/sort mods

Screenshots were taken on the Epic version of the game (which is just the DRM free version that's been available on steam/gog for years)

Maybe the mods you have arent supported on the particular version?

Thanks Satoru. Ive done exactly what you said but i cant get the blue thingy. I have now 3 different mods (More curios, oKS_3TRINKETS_V2, Oks_better trinkets_v2.03) all in a seperate folder in my mod folder (Epic/Games/DarkestDungeon/mods), but still no blue hammer when I start up a new game. Really havent got a clue to what is wrong.

@cuna Easier to get an answer here :lunar2019grinningpig:

@Satoru. Thanks for all the help. Got an answer on a youtube channel. Apparently you need a file called project.xml where you describe what should happen to the mod. I now have it and you have to manually edit the code in the file. If you do it correctly, everything works like a charm. Finally I got the modded game working :lunar2019grinningpig: Thansk once again for the time and the help.

NIUR skins annoyingly don't have the project.xml files, good to know you found it out on youtube.

Sure...once Epic Games has decent community software. Steam is just empirically better for support, community, chat, literally anything other than the cheap .exe of games. Using Epic Games posting is like going to Microsoft support instead of Reddit.
