Spiked chain vs Brass Knuckles
Let's start with stats

Spiked Chain:
+20% DMG Ranged Skills
+15% Stun Skill Chance
+20% Blight Skill Chance

Brass Knuckles:
+10% DMG
+20% Stun Skill Chance

I've been thinking a lot about which one is better. Brass Knuckles seem a lot better for both stunning and dealing damage while Spiked Chain ... is kind of weird. +20% DMG on Ranged Skills seems nice but the ranged skills don't deal much damage to begin with. The -5% stun may not seem like much but it's the diffrence between having a 100% chance to stun on a few characters. And the final 20% blight skill chance, I honestly can't find a lot of times where I would rather use the blight than the stun. The riposte is nice but it's not nearly as scary as the other ripostes in the game.

I also have a question, is the riposte damage a ranged or melee attack? It looks like a ranged attack but I'm not sure if that's the case.

pretty sure reposite is ranged, but id have to check again. but the main reasons i see about bringing it is that it there are only 2 brass knuckles, so having something similar help to save them for other characters. that or you can just simply stack both if your looking to stunbot with abom..

Very fair, 135% chance to stun is pretty solid. Would also maybe start to do some okayish dmg since they both also buff it

In general the point of trinket pairs like this is to use both at once.

The point of beast's bile is to stack stress. Turn 1: transform. Turn 2: puke. Turn 3: transform. Turn 4+: puke.

The damage and stun is sort of like a consolation prize in this case. When you're down to just one front-row person left, the trinket isn't a dead slot.

you seem to be kinda unfamiliar with Abom's advantages and strong sides. I can tell that Spiked Chain is one of his best addons(Cloak must be the best one i think) because Abom's riposte if one of his most utile abillities in a good comp thus blight skill chance is super important aswell as ranged dmg which can take his raw riposte dmg up to like 10+. +15% stun chance will definately come in handy if Abom lives till the end of match when he may not have any transforms left and has to use the stun. Idk, maybe there are build setups where you would take both the knuckles and chain but stunning build for abom isn't great at all from my experience.
