Stun not working?
Does anyone else have problems with stuns in new DLC? I know stuns have been debuffed, but when I use stun skills on monsters, they do get stunned, but they still have their actions right away. It's as if they haven't been stunned at all, even if they get stun status effect.

In the beta testing the devs broke stun in radiant and stygian modes - it was supposed to be fixed.

Mostly just visual mods (different skins and background). Only gameplay mods are "Remove Dungeon Level Restriction", "Inventory Stack", "All 7 Combat Skill Equipable" and "Affliction Balanced Chance".

They added a stall mechanic that detects when you're trying to keep 1 enemy up to heal. Because honestly that meta was ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ retarded to begin with and you could beat the game just fine without it.

Is that how it works? I thought stalling detection brings reinforcements + stress, not stun ignore.

Green-Tea - Yet my stuns don't work even when I use it in first round. I stunned Cultist Acolyte to avoid stress, but she still attacked my team right away.

Buffs and heals also count as stalling and it can trigger on the first round.

I highly suspect that it might be a part of it. The patch notes don't exactly say how it works entirely. I know that it calls reinforcements if there are 1 or 2 enemies left. But it also can be triggered on round 1 so it has to do something else on top of it.

So when can I use stuns? I just tried it in my 3th mission. I stunned Bone Arbalist with my Plague Doctor in first round (second action after Highwayman), and stun did absolutely nothing.

Did you try verifying your game files? The way you describe it doesn't sound like intended behavior, and does not fit the new conditions defined for stalling.

Stalling detection shouldn't apply in this case. and doesn't apply in the tutorial ruins dungeon.

Yeah it's supposed to do it after you use 3 stalling moves so if it's your second move then something is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ broken.

Right click the game in you library list. Select properties. Go to the Local Files tabs. There will be a button to Verify your game files there.

I'm getting the same problem. I hope this is a bug, because otherwise stuns are worthless. It's just a fancy effect now.

Like, I attack, attack, heal, attack, stun(With damage), and the stun gets undone while the monster attacks anyway. If that's the pattern for "accelerated stalling" then it's bogus.
The more I think about it though the more I realised that it could definately be intentional. I'm pretty sure it's 3 stalling moves, but now that I realise if it's just 1 enemy you only need 2 (the stun and the heal). So either it's an oversight or it was intentional.

After opening the patch notes again and double checking it's definately 2 moves that are detected as stalling (if 1 or 2 enemies are left)

It also says that some enemies now accelerate stalling, bringing reinforcements rapidly (1 round) if only accelerated stall enemies are left alive.

Gonna have to look more into this because if you're getting groups full of enemies flagged as acceleration then that's what it is. If not then it's a hilarious bug.

Either way something isn't working right.

My Shieldbreaker was stunned and she could also take an action on the same turn so unless it also affects the enemies (didn't read the patch notes) then I think it's broken at the moment.

I verified and it didn't find any problems. But still stuns aren't working at all.
