There's been a lot of hate towards the game due to it's difficulty.
Yes, the game is difficult but on the other hand the devs put a lot of work into it and it's actually amazing if you learn how to play and if you find the game too difficult, why don't you just find some mods the modders created for you to ease your way instead of complaining?

There are some great mods that make the game less difficult and more balanced, for example No Monster Crits by CrazyMLC or Better Trinkets by Oks.

I don't think those who find it too hard are going to bother coming to the forums to read advice, Gungnir. They're more likely to not bother playing again instead.

You can also mod game files to make your folks more OP or upgrades cheaper.

Radiant difficulty is fun.

And I think the biggest problem is that you need a different mindset than the normal RPG, once you embrace that the regular dungeon spelunking becomes refreshingly successful.
