Dazzling Mirror + Blasphemous Vial brings %Stun of PD to %200+, able to stunlock backrows of bloodsuckers for entire fights, not even exaggerating.
If you find that one of your characters get focused down, you can always rely on Man-at-Arms to protect your characters. He can also give your guys dodge, accuracy, riposte while protecting your guys, and he even has a stun, so he is actually a very good choice in general.
Bringing a Grave Robber with dodge+offensive trinkets allows you to not worry about another character getting hit all the time. Especially if you use the toxin trickery.
So you have grave robber that is very hard to hit, Man-at-Arms with very high prot, and defend ability, Leper who is just tanky and is able to take hits all day, and the healer who is protected by the Man-at-Arms.
I think this kind of a team is very good at the Courtyard.
I get that at high infestation levels you will definitely come accross them annoying gnats, but it's a bit much when they take over a whole dungeon...
-.-
I took the advice of bring a PD with (40%stun, 20% blight trinket) and dazzing mirror.
But when i face the first group of bloodsucker(4 Sycophants), my team nearly got destoryed.
My team was PD, jester, occulist. hellion.
Hellion miss the target all the time with +10acc trinket
PD is okay because she stuns two Sycophants.
Jester again always miss.
occulist is busy to heal other heros.
So, what is a better team for facing bloodsuckers enemies?
I am overwhelmed becuase i need to prepare for both bloodsucker and normal dungeon enemies.
Thanks!
3 healer
2 stress healer
Occulist's damage debuff (use it on chevalier while other char kill the other bloodsucker)
2 bleed damaging character (very powerfull against those bloodsucker)
You can't really lose with such a comp
Use 1 accuracy trinket all the time, the second one is your choice, i tend to choose evade.
TBH, I actually just beat the Viscount in a single go for the first time ever. Having the Crimson Curse is only a bad thing if you don't have enough blood.
If you don't have to worry about running out, then having the curse is objectively better and easier than not having it. Your guys are faster, they hit harder, and sometimes they randomly heal themselves/lower their stress.
As far as not taking too much damage, I strongly advise that you bring a Plague Doctor. Those guys are insanely useful in the Courtyard. The only bloodsuckers that aren't easy to stun multiple rounds in a row are the Supplicants, and I personally find them to be the least threatening. You want your PD to have both Blinding Gas and Disorienting Blast, and you should give them trinkets to increase their stun chance. The Dazzling Mirror is a really good one.
I usually try to kill Sycophants first, then Manservants, then the rest. I usually leave the Chevaliers for last, since they are easier to keep stunned.
Whenever you defeat a CC boss, it resets infection back to normal. After the last one, the Curse becomes a curable disease like any other.
The Chevalier (or even worse two of those bastards) are priority targets, and they spawn in the back two rows. So have your own back row heavy hitters. Two damage debuffs from an Occultist and the Chevy becomes a weakling.
Also if you don't want to deal with CC content early, just don't turn it on, or if you do, don't actually go into the Courtyard until you want to deal with it (although the latter prevents you from getting other potentially beneficial Hamlet events).
My personal medicine to Bloodsuckers is the following:
PD/VES/MAA/CRUS
Cataphract/PD/MAA/CRUS
CRUS/CRUS/CRUS/CRUS
VES/PD/BH/MAA
Cataphract/PD/HM/MAA
