Report a translation problem
Your save files should be in the folder Steam/userdata/...../remote. Copy the save games into the folder User/MyDocuments/Darkest and don't start the game with Steam.
Instead use the Darkest.exe in the folder _windowsnosteam, which is in Steam/Steamapps/common/DarkestDungeon.
This was the only way so far for me, from stop the game from crashing since like 3 or 4 pages ago. The game starts without Steam and there should be no more crashes, when loading a game.
Just to clarify for me (and tjebe very likely) there is no crash until end of dungeon (at moment loot table should appear)
After a restart, initially the save was gone completely, but then appeared again after a second restart. And Guinand is still in my roster, feeling pretty stressed about the whole ordeal.
