Buying too much stuff at provision
Hey

I am new around here here and have some questions, so the thing is what happens to the supplies I buy at the begining when we abandon a quest or complete? Are they being sold to the price I bought them or for less perhabs for nothing ? because I lose them all anyway if I used them or not after every mission.

Thanks for the ones who care and help.

THey are sold back at about 5-10% the base price or smth like that.

If you return to town with at least 1 party member alive, then you get a fraction of the cost back as everything in your inventory is sold to the vendor. You do not get anything for free class-based Provisions, like how the Grave Robber adds a shovel. If everyone is dead when you return to town then you get nothing back at all.

Thank you. So I surely should not buy anything more than I need or I will be broke as hell like I am right now :steamfacepalm:

With practice you will sooner or later understand to get only the important, depending also on different dungeons and dont stack too much.
Hope you have fun with the game

Better coming back to town with 1000$ less than coming back to town with 4 heroes less.
Over-supply wont bite u as much as under-supply will.

Here's my usual supplies, for apprentice or veteran quests, they're pretty safe. I'm usually slightly over supplied every dungeon by 2 or 3 extras, which isn't that important since you mostly replace it with gold packs.

Short Dungeon :
8 torch, 8 food, 2 keys, 2 shovels (Only 1 in Warrens)
Ruin > 2 holy water, 1 medicinal herb
Weald > 2 anti venom, 1 bandage
Cove > 2 medicinal herbs, bandages at higher ranks
Warrens > 2 bandages

Medium Dungeon :
20 food (less in warrens), 12 torches, 3 keys, 3 shovels (Only 2 in warrens)
Ruin > 2 holy water, 2 medicinal herbs
Weald > 4 antivenom, 2 bandages
Cove > 3 medicinal herbs, bandages at higher ranks, 1 holy water
Warrens > 3 medicinal herbs, 4 bandages

Long Dungeons :
24 food (less in warrens), 12 torches, 4 keys, 4 shovels
Ruin > 3 holy waters, 3 medicinal herbs
Weald > 4 antivenom, 3 bandages, few holy waters.
Cove > 4 medicinal herbs, 4 bandages, few holy waters
Warrens > 4 medicinal herbs, 4 bandages, few holy waters

Then for bosses I adapt it.

Just did my very first dungeon run. Had no idea supplies are gone even if you come back victorious so I spent loads on ovestocking....

That's no biggie tbh, especially since with a well going dungeon, you can end up with gold like this run :

And yes, this is a level 1 apprentice mission, medium. (maybe the second one is veteran, not sure, can't remember lol.)

Eh, it's no biggie because I'm new and this run will probably end soon in a splatter of blood.

Remember to alternate your "loot aim" 1 time go for deeds, 1 time go for gold.
If you need lots of gold, do 2-3 runs with the Apotecarian and some leveled up chara to back her up.
PS: Remember to interact with curios with her! (extra money)
