The stats at the bottom of the Crimson Court trinkets

So, I've been playing the DLC, and I noticed that the crimson court items have a grey stat at the bottom, and was wondering what it meant. Does the wearer have to be afflicted by the crimson curse to have the effect apply or something?

I am assuming this is the bonus you get from wearing two items from the same set.

my hypothesis is that when the character says the Combat Bark shown on that item they get that effect.

So i figure when you are in battle and he does that specific combat Bark, you will get the greyed out bonuses to CRT. not sure but will test this theory tonight and report back.

Very much doubt it. The other ones, such as the Plague Doctor's, mention something about University, and she doesn't say it in game.

I'm guessing it's either like they said above and is par of a set, or maybe it's activated if the wearer is Cursed?

I guess it activates if you have the curse

That's the set bonus or effect. It has an accompanying trinket and you must equip both together to get the effect. I got the set for the Hellion on the first Crimson Court Mission (One Reward, and one from the Croc)

Yep, they're set trinkets. I got the two trinkets for the Highwayman and if he equips both his virtue chance increases by 45%. Not exactly my favorite bonus but I guess one could let him reach 100 stress on purpose and then (hopefully) enjoy the benefits of whatever virtue he gets.
