Certain types of creature have 'terror attack moves' that apply stress DOT to your team. Laudanum can be used to clear the terror status. I personally believe Laudanum can also be used to interact with some curios in the Courtyard.

The Ghoul's Howl ability has changed to inflict 'Horror'. This is a DOT like Bleed/Blight but for Stress.

Laudanum is the Bandage/Antitoxin.

Wait so does that mean that you can't just use Laudanum to decrease your overall stress level? ...well, ♥♥♥♥
