Crimson court map the same every time?

so i jsut got the DLC and got an event that unlocked a crimson court quest, Every time I do this quest the layout seems to be exactly the same which wouldn't usally be a problem but none of my dudes are good enough to take on the ole croc thats blocking the way....

so am i going crazy or do the quest maps just not change?

The Crimson Court is not intended to be done in one go (unless you're insane) as such the layout is saved between sessions.

but all the enemuies, curious and quest objectives reset when I retreated so the bits that dont matter stay the same and the bits that are actually an obsticle get refreshed....
