Game uses different save files if you launch with Vortex

This is just something I noticed, thought I would share it, since it was really bothering me. A few times when I started my game I would lose save files, and even noticed some mods were being switched around. Turns out, if you launch from the Vortex MM (clicking the picture of the game at the top left) you apparently start a different version of the game? Or Maybe the save files are just located somewhere else? Idk, but now I have to different saves that are only available one at a time, depending on how i start the game.

I'm not sure what Vortex is, but if it's a mod why are you surprised?

Vortex isn't a mod, rather it's a mod manager.

Well if you use mod manager, it means you're using mods, so yeah that could cause troubles.

Why would you use vortex in the first place? Mods are entirely managed in-game, the pure presence of a mod doesnt mean it's activated. There're also 2 instances of DD: the steam and the no-steam version, both use a different save and mod location, so you wont see the steam saves if you start the non-steam and vice versa
