Can I improve inventory capacity?
I haave noticed even if I'm buying not much supplies, as minimum as possible, inventory spaces ran out very quickly. There is SHOULD be a way to improve them, otherwise that would be very dull because of how few they are by default. Maybe there is a mod for it?

This tread is the most cringe I've had for DD for a while.

Even the idea that someone would want to expand the inventory has never came to my mind as I integrated it as a core mechanic of the game and I don't understand how anyone could suggest that while saying it's an "improvement".
It would be like saying for an infiltration game "why not make the enemies blind, it would make the game MUCH easier, hence improving it. I don't understand why the devs hadn't thought of it before.". I see no difference between the 2.
Why even play DD if you can't embrace the challenge and frustration, they're the game's core and why everyone enjoys it. So get down with your inventory as it is, or cheat using a mod.

I'm a hoarder by heart, I increase my carry capacity with console commands in Skyrim and Fallout to sate my desire to own it all. I play this game without torches and have a hardcore goal of my own to not lose any characters above level 2 while dungeoning.

This leads up to my point, nothing makes me go as crazy as when I have to leave a chunk of gold behind or decide between discarding my bandages or herbs for loot, it drives me insane quicker than my characters and I love it. The inventory space limit is a feature I can't possibly touch.
Same here. And it's also what makes me appreciate the antiquarian. If not for inventory limits, she has very little value.

I love her... in torch runs, but I don't do those most of the time. All the loot you get without torches and the antiquarian is bonkers. Larger gold stacks is nice and all, but she brings forth 3 entirely new items that take up even more space and thus makes it even harder for me to leave stuff behind :steamsad:

Yeah, I know what you mean. I honestly even feel a little bad when I have to drop cheap gems like citrine, jade and onyx. On the other hand, opportunity losses also bother me. If I don't have an antiquarian in my group, then I find myself thinking of all the loot that I could have found if she were with me. On top of that, I also like to use her camping skill that spawns a free trinket. It's awesome particularly on long runs cause you get to camp twice. I've picked up some rare and very rare trinkets with her using that skill.

citrine is the first thing I trash every time, I've told myself so many times that a full stack is worth so little compared to gold, not to mention you rarely get a full stack anyways. Jades are still a bit iffy and everything above hurts good

The main problem is the length and type of missions. Several missions will require you to reserve 3 spaces inventory. Medium and mostly long missions will make the space left in the inventory very scarce. The inventory should be extended a bit according to mission length and type I think.
Thats actually a pretty neat idea. Though if they really increased it, it should only be by 4 at most for the longest dungeon imo and 2 for medium.
And only a party with an Antiquarian should get such a boost. Also, if any character dies, the backpacked inventory should be reduced by 4 for each dead hero. Love it!
