Ranged and melee skills difference
Hi, I didn't find anything by searching the forum, so my question remains:
What does the game deem a melee and ranged skill? What's the difference? There are skills that can hit position 1-4 and there are skills that can only attack the first 1-3 or 2-4, but those are available with heros that have a "melee" weapon, and heros with ranged weapons.

So, are ranged buffs from trinkets only affecting weapons that are actually thrown, like a dagger from the grave robber, or a bolt from the arbalest? Or does it matter what enemy position can be hit? I won't want to waste a melee +acc trinket go to waste on an attack like the Helion's Iron Swan, just because the game says it hits the last enemy so it's range (despite it's obviously not, because she doesn't throw her weapon away).

If you take a CLOSER LOOK at each offensive skill, it has a range category of: MELEE or RANGED.

So if something only buffs range attacks, then it will only apply to RANGED categorized attacks.
