About Skeletons
So,we all know that the graverobbers knife throw debuffs bleed resist, and that got me thinking.
Could we bleed skeletons?
In ideal conditions,we need 3 graverobbers with level 1 weapons, and level 5 knife throw...
and the highest bleed skill chance...which i don't know what that is.

Back before they got buffed to like 200% resist, it was possible with just trinkets, use something like a Hellion after severe bleeding debuffs and you will be able to make dem bonez bleed again.

You can bleed them with a 2x or 3x bleed debuff stack from either Open Vein or Flashing Daggers, and 2 Bleed chance buffs on a character with a bleed skill.

For example, let's say you're using a Highwayman with level 3 Open Vein (-26% bleed resist per debuff stack, and 119% base chance to hit) an apprentice level dungeon. Let's also assume your Highwayman's weapon is only level 1, as any higher level would likely just kill the skeleton even a defender. A 2x debuff stack would reduce it's bleed resistance to 148% You have to have a Bleed Amulet AND a Bleed Stone equipped, which gives a total 50% buff to bleed skill chance, giving your highwayman a 169% chance to bleed, so you now have a 121% chance to bleed the debuffed skeleton. With a 3x bleed resist debuff, that skeleton will have 122% resistance to bleed, so with just one bleed chance trinket, your highwayman can bleed the debuffed skelly, but with both a Bleed Amulet and Bleed Stone, he'll be up to a 47% chance to bleed that skeleton.

Basically, yes, you can bleed a skeleton, but you need a really stupidly specific set up for it to be possible.

never claimed it was a viable strat, but it's possible!

Think about this from a common sense standpoint....bleeding skeletons.....BLEEDING.....SKELETONS. Do you see what's wrong?

Techincally,bone marrow produces blood,so yes,real life skeletons can,in fact,bleed.

Well, I have a question for the rest of you based on something I noticed. The Corpse of any skeleton opponent can bleed with absolutely NO resistance (as far as I remember) whatsoever. My question is: How can what couldn't bleed while living, bleed after death? Especially in the case of a skeleton corpse.

Corpses are generic obstacles that have nothing related to the enemy they belonged to besides sprite and size.

I know, I was just hoping for a little more realistic logic behind it than that! A pile of bones from a dead skeleton doesn't seem like it should bleed to me if the living skeleton couldn't lol.:stress:

A great as this game is and how much I love it, sometimes it has things like this, do people remember when the Hag Cauldron could dodge!?
Or when food heals could crit? Now I actually miss that feature...
