Horrid Shrieker Teams
Attempting to kill Horrid Shrieker, not the nest, all actions to be invested in killing the Shrieker.

Currently at late game (Week +100) and have Crimson Court and Shieldbreaker DLC.

Suggestions on teams, Trinkets, Positive and Negative Quirks.

Please suggest multiple team compositions just in case.

I always crush him with Occ / Higwayman / Highwayman / Hellion (Hellion could be anything else I think, but I like her Bleed Out for it) You could try with a MaA instead of a Hellion, if you have his CC set, he get good riposts with it. And you could guard the occ and/or use Command.

Last time I beat it with arbalest / occ / bounty hunter / hellion. Basically first strat is lot of ripost, 2nd is lot of huge crits on marked shrieker. But I prefer the 1st strategy. Shrieker has 3 actions per rounds, so you may have to play with your bounty hunter or your arbalest on a unmarked shrieker.

There must be plenty of other strats, with a jester buffing his final for 3 rounds for exemple.

That will sound weird, and maybe I jut got lucky, but Jes-Ves-Lep-HWM is the comp I killed it in Endless. Both Lep and HWM had full CC sets, Vestal had full heal trinkets and Jester had full stress healing trinkets. No particularly good or bad quirks either.

Jester Ballad'd everyone, Leper used Revenge on first turn and crit it each other turn, HWM gave a PBS on first turn and Riposted on the second, repeating for turns 3-4, Vestal just healed everyone.

I'd say out of that comp you only really need the Jester and Leper, you can swap Vestal with Occultist for lowering Shrieker's dodge and HWM for another Leper with ACC trinkets.

In Darkest mode I usually need 2 rounds for the kill, on Stygian/Bloodmoon 2,5. I allways mark because all heros benefit from it. Best mark is the Arbelest's becaus it decreases dodge.

Trinkets: All +acc available (Focus Ring, Moon Ring, class specific ones like the Hunter's Talons for the Bounty Hunter, Ancestor's Signet Ring, Ancestor's Pistol, ...).

i like to kill the srieker this:
Grave robber Occultist Higwayman Crusader
Grave robber with trowing daggers
higwayman with traking shot, duelist advance point blank shot and pistol shot.
crusader with bulkward of faith smite, battle heal (i preffer the other one). and holy lance
this setups gives you a lot of acc on the srieker making the grave robber hit almost every time, the crusader is supporting the ocultist is healing and the highwayman is riposting.
4/4 srieker kills wit this team
the other that i have is:
jester higwayman ocutist and man at arms
jester : battle ballad - solo - finale
higwayman pistol shot - traking shot - duelist advance - wiked slice
ocultist:daemons caludron hands from the abbys, weakening curse or the other mark - wyrd reconstruction- sacrificial stab
man at arms : rampart crush or defender -retribution - bolster - command
this strat is getting getting your acc higer, making the higwayman a solid 30- 60 dmg dealer.

Quad Houndmaster, give the rank 1 the highest SPD in order to trigger Target Whistle then the rest all just Hound Rush, since the fight is short there is no reason to not use the Dog Treats so the entire team has bonus ACC/DMG and then doubled due to marked target and then futher bumped due to the enemy being a beast type.

I fought it 3 times, and the 2 times I brought full Houndmaster I killed it turn 1.

Pretty much any mark team can make short work of him. I use something like HM/HM/Occ/BH. Earlier in the game, Arb/HM/Occ/MaA is good since you can use Command on your MaA to boost accuracy and protect your squishy Occultist.

Agree with the comments above that HM are very good for this fight, because you can use the Dog treat bonus for the whole fight.

Realize this is an old thread but just went successfully against the Horrid Shrieker with Occ/HM/BH/MAA. It really wasn't that bad. I should mentino that I took advantage of a town event that gave +33% XP and +15% damage in the Weald. I buffed up my characters with as many +ACC and +DMG trinkets as I had. Maybe or maybe not worth noting but 3 of my characters were lvl 5, one was lvl 4.

Maybe i got lucky but my Occ went first and hit successfully with Vulnerability Hex (Mark, -20 Dodge), and my BH hit next and crit for 56 DMG. With dog treats, the HM also had huge hits. The MAA used Command to buff up team ACC and CRT. The Shrieker never once dodged a hit. All in all I was able to kill him in 2 rounds and barely took any stress. HOWEVER, the real reason I'm posting here is to reiterate the only 'rewards' you'll get for killing the Shrieker are the 8 stolen trinkets. What I ALSO got were negative quirks and/or diseases for everyone, no positive quirks. Moral of the story, kill the Shrieker for pride, but the smart move is going for the nest instead!

I now use Arbalest, Jester, HM and MAA for Shrieker. Max weapon , armor and skills. He is actually quite easy. Bolster and Ballad round one and mark him. He is dead in three rounds.
