Is it worth it to cure diseases?
So im new to the game and ive noticed my heroes contracting things like the "Runs" and other addlictions. These seem to affect mostly blight, bleed, maximum HP. So, is it worth it early in the game to start using the sanitarium? Most of the party members Im using who have these diseases are kinda vital to the whole dungeon exploring thing as I dont have much in the way of team members.

It is worth it, but if the team members are vital to the next mission you have to weigh your options. If the disease isn't too bad you could probably wait until after the mission. Some diseases are dibilitating. :stress::stress::stress:

The runs in one of the worse ones. You need to get that cured.

Depends on what they do. If you're new you probably don't know which of those debuffs are dangerous and which aren't that dangerous. When you have the money, you just routinely slap people into the sanitarim if they have a disease and don't even look at what particular diseases do.

I would suggest playing on radiant for the first time. That way the game will feel less grindy. Later I would play on darkest once you get the hang of the heros and game mechanics and such.

Of course it its important at early stages but you can take the plague doctor and the graverobber to cure diseases when camping, that way you can save some gold. I prioritize curing diseases that afect hp since sometimes the enemy hits you way harder than expected and that extra hp may save one of your party. Acc debuff diseases aren't that bad, rabies for example, gives you a dmg boost, so using a trinket that modifies acc may stabilize the disease debuff untill you can afford to cure it. Resistance debuffs are a concern I try to cure asap too, specially if going to the warrens or the cove since the first one has lots of blight and the other one lots of bleeding. I'm not an expert but since I learned everything in my playtrhough by trial and error I didn't suffer that much because of diseases, except when the red plague and the black plague hit dismas, those were harsh times.

Disease is usually worth removing. It's pretty cheap, they don't come back nearly as often as negative quirks, and their effects are almost universally much worse.

The only disease that you may want to think about keeping is the Fits.

Rabies is actually worth it sometimes too.

Ironically some people want Rabies kn Leper. As he already has low accuracy, they just boost the accuracy for even more damage.
