How do you recover Cristaline trinkets?

I think there might be a design oversight, I lost a Cristaline tricket in the Fasmstead, and such trinket is not for sale anymore in the Estate. What gives?
I also lost an Ancestral trinket, but am guessing I'd need to fight the Shambler again to get it.
But there has to be a way to get Cristaline trinkets back, there's no way that if you only lose them once you can never access that trinket ever again.

When you lose 8 total trinkets, the Shriekers quest opens, and you have an opportunity to get them back. You don’t even have to kill him, just survive for a while.

Augh, I completely forgot about that. I assummed the Cristaline trinkets would work differently.

Also, do I really need to lose all 8 for the Shrieker to appear again? See I don' plan to get other 3 heroes killed just for that.

You really do. You can either send fresh level 0 to die in pitch blackness, or you can exploit a property of endless mode.

it is annoying, but losing trinkets should have some repercussions, right?

You can bring useless trinkets in some dungeon drag them to your inventory and when reward screen appears just exchange trinkets for what dropped and close reward screen.

Dying in endless mode makes your heroes refracted, instead of making them the contents of a fresh grave.

Yeah, I guess I could do that to lose other 6 trinkets on purpose too.
