no hero's available, how to skip week?

everyones stress is too high so theyre all at the bar. no one can come from the stage coach, they all died at the farm but for some reason time didnt pass there.

You can remove people from the facilities by clicking the X below their portrait

1) Send someone that shouldn't go, pull them out of the bar (you will not get your money back

2) You are overpushing your heros way, WAY to much. Bring a Crusader or Jester to stressheal in the dungeon, give up on the quest much, MUCH sooner.

The early game can be hard, but this kind of stuff shouldn't happen.
Once one hero reaches 100 stress, i normaly consider if iam close to finishing the quest or if i can stressheal him down to 0 before the mission ends.

If somehow i get someone to 150, or even more than 3 people above 100, i go back to town ASAP

first thing you should do in any playthrough is leveling the stage coach two times so you get 4 heroes every week. Send your stressed heroes on a suicide mission and get as much loot as you can, try to finish it but if you can't just retreat, fire the heroes with high stress as paying gold for expendable heroes isn't worth, recruit 4 more and repeat the process.

Yeah why would you learn of your fails and errors when you can just type a command and solve the problem as if it was nothing. I'm sorry but this is not a good mindset, you won't have this "command" for everything.

EXCEPT if i have heroes i don't plan on keeping (usually fresh off the stagecoach, or sometimes if they have negative quirks/diseases I don't want to pay to remove) on Darkest, probably I will keep going and let one or two die before retreating. who cares if they die or get dismissed really so long as u get more precious precious gold.

(note: if entire party looks kinda messed up and might totally wipe then ya ok i won't press luck and chance everyone dying, because total wipe = no loot. one or two dying so what, total wipe is bad)

(note 2: letting ppl die on stygian not good, doesn't mean you have to keep everyone alive, but letting corpses pile up isn't a "fix" like it is on darkest)

1) u not hardcore enuf

ok if it "hardcore" question then everyone need to install bunch of harder-mode mods and only drink hot sauce. u not see happen? get mad at world kk not help much

2) purist

if nobody ever did things different, wear no clothes, live in open field eating grass, get eaten by random lion

Listen, here is the thing, i have no control over what people are doing if they want to cheat, they'll cheat i can't forbide them to do so, but at least i can explain my opinion on it and describe how going for the cheat is not solving the problem but dodging it. If your short on gold:

Edit

\trinkets\base.entries.trinkets.json

Ctrl + f

find necronomicon

Change price to 750000

close file

Start the game

open tricket inventory

press ENTER key
type necronomicon

click Call Trinket!

Shift click on it
It will sell for 112500 gold.

Repeat at anytime you wish.

Remove Hero level limit

1) Open DarkestDungeon\campaign\quest\quest.json with notepad
2) Find "restriction" line at very bottom
3) Under "resolve_level_threshold_table" there are numbers 2 2 2 4 4 99 99
4) Change 2 and 4 into any number (hero level) that suits you like 6 6 6 6 6 99 99
5) Congratulations! You can use your A team for whatever mission there is.

So if they want to get access to the backer heros, or backer trinkets, or any mod out there, then they are free to do so without having to listen to people, such as yourself belittle them for thier choice of playstyle.

This game is SINGLE PLAYER, you have no interaction with them and how they play, you have no repurcusions on the choices they make in THIER game.

So let it go and go find something more useful to complain about that has more meaning, as in say someone trying to cheat in a multiplayer game.

That's pretty much what i said but it seems that you cannot read the " i have no control over what people are doing if they want to cheat, they'll cheat i can't forbide them to do so". And i do have the right to speak out loud what i think as everyone is able to.

The argument of "It's a singleplayer game bruh" does not work, it is a moral concept and i am criticizing the act of cheating and its repercussions.

And by the way i am in no way criticizing the OP since he just asked for an answer to his problem but mainly "LordLancelot" who is spoiling the fun of the game by responding with cheat codes as a solution.

If you do not agree with my view on cheat i understand it but if you want people like me to stop blaming and complaining about cheating you should stop promoting it aswell.


Anyway if you want to cheat, just do what you have to do but understand that dodging a problem is not a long term viable solution.
