I know it's not the same, but every blue moon there is an event where you can revive a dead hero. You can't choose 100% which hero, as you'll be offered 3 random dead heroes.

lol, By blue moon, I meant that the event happens very rarely XD

I subscribe to a ton of mods, and so far, I haven't seen any that does what you want. You should check the workshop and browse around to see if you can find one.

Your heroes are replacable though - and new recruits are for free.
Its a part of the game ;-)

Well, if you seriously want that mod to exist, you can just edit the files youself. Get a 100% chance to revive a dead hero and such.

...But really, it's one of the main part of the game.
