Reset Missions?
Anyone know how to reset the missions available in a safe file? I constantly only get 1 expedition on every area on an existing file, but when I start a new one I see very clearly that it is not intended to be that way. Like can i delete the mission-file somewhere and then just re-download it?

The missions change from week to week... if you do one, everything should change up again, right?
No it consistently is only 1 mission, it should be 3 missions per area minimum, but it's only 1 consistently as in doing missions/passing time does NOT give me more missions. Hence why I need to know how to force a complete reset of both current missions as well as a repair of mission-paramaters which tell the game to only grant 1 mission for each area ALL the time.

Probably by deleting something, I dunno that's why I ask here.

The number of missions you can get in an area depends on the level of the area (the number beside the skull). The lower the number, the fewer missions you can get.
Nah that's ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. The number is there for the boss mission/progression towards boss. I even confirmed it on a new save (just to be sure the rules have not changed with CoM in Bloodmoon) after doing the tutorial mission in the ruins I instantly got 3 missions to choose from in ruins. While I have already done a boss mission and unlocked much more in my existing save where I have ONLY 1 mission for each area all the time.
Only one mission will be available in each area until you do said mission.
Did you even read my post?
From what i've seen there's anywgere from 1-3, if you always only have 1 you probably have a bug. Try a new game.

Did you even try to do what i suggested?

Take a screenshot of your quest selection screen and that'll probably help us figure out what the solution is.

Obviously you didn't otherwise you would not have wrote what you did, because then you would have known I already did that before you "suggested" it. Anyways because this thread has not been helpfull at all in the fact that honestly it was dumb responses all over the place of people whom i can only assume either never played the game much or at least never read the tutorial or people literally thinking the same of me.

I guess those who know that they know nothing about my admittedly more advanced question on file manipulation/fixing a bug are quiet while those who don't even know or don't care to read are the quickest to respond with cookie cutter responses or with just plain wrong statements.

I know this might sound off putting to those that are adressed and in the tone of "git gud" or something like that, but I mean no harm/ill will. My hope in adressing that is that this spreading of misinformation might be stopped and honest to god reading is adviced before responding.

Anyways I was busy with stuff and wanted to play again, but this problem came to my mind and I honestly did not want to start a new game again because of something as stupid as this and loose my quiet fortunatetly quirk blessed roster for this.

In the hopes of maybe finding someone who might have actual helpfull advice I try to revive this thread one more time, BUT for those who would like more visual cues and the general read-lazy to get the situation and avoid spreading misinformation I put up some screenshots that hopefully will guide me to a solution. If not I assume no one knows or cares, then I'll probably just put the game off for a longer period.

One is obviously the bugged save I am currently in and one is a Week 2 save which shows how many quests should be in one area usually.

These screenshots both do not display any unexpected behaviour, no bug at all.
The game determines total available quests and distributes them among opened areas, since on week 2 theres only the ruins available all those missions get to be in the ruins. The more areas open up, the more the quests scatter about, leaving you with less quests per area.

Again, this is totally normal.
To increase your total number of quests available you just need to play more.
It is literally been this way all the time from week one to now, never more than 1 quest. That is not normal and I wrote that down, do you think I have screenshotted every week in anticipation of this thread, or do you think I expect people to be able to read and view images as well?

If you validate your files and nothing changes this cant be a bug and youre just being unlucky, sorry
Or the game considers me to be still in Tutorial thus why it gives me only 1 quest all the time and steam repair does not consider that to be a problem, probably because a yes or no value in the files can be both correct and does not mean corruption. Hence why I want to know how/where to delete that file so the game can restore it with completely new values and update that value to "No" because I obviously am far beyond the tutorial missions already.

Which seems much more likely than me being unlucky for more than a dozen weeks on every single area. That would be as likely as winning the lottery or even impossible since I have never even seen that once before CoM thus making me believe that there is a minimum amount of missions all the time normally and this can only be a bug. I've played the game for hundreds of hours. A screenshot like that beyond the tutorial is basically reaching beyond the reach of reality.

Take a screenshot from that game instead of the one where you're not.
Are you a robot AI learning to recognize pictures in its first week since it has been programmed? I already put that in here it's the second screenshot -.-.
