Probably by deleting something, I dunno that's why I ask here.
Take a screenshot of your quest selection screen and that'll probably help us figure out what the solution is.
I guess those who know that they know nothing about my admittedly more advanced question on file manipulation/fixing a bug are quiet while those who don't even know or don't care to read are the quickest to respond with cookie cutter responses or with just plain wrong statements.
I know this might sound off putting to those that are adressed and in the tone of "git gud" or something like that, but I mean no harm/ill will. My hope in adressing that is that this spreading of misinformation might be stopped and honest to god reading is adviced before responding.
Anyways I was busy with stuff and wanted to play again, but this problem came to my mind and I honestly did not want to start a new game again because of something as stupid as this and loose my quiet fortunatetly quirk blessed roster for this.
In the hopes of maybe finding someone who might have actual helpfull advice I try to revive this thread one more time, BUT for those who would like more visual cues and the general read-lazy to get the situation and avoid spreading misinformation I put up some screenshots that hopefully will guide me to a solution. If not I assume no one knows or cares, then I'll probably just put the game off for a longer period.
One is obviously the bugged save I am currently in and one is a Week 2 save which shows how many quests should be in one area usually.

The game determines total available quests and distributes them among opened areas, since on week 2 theres only the ruins available all those missions get to be in the ruins. The more areas open up, the more the quests scatter about, leaving you with less quests per area.
Again, this is totally normal.
To increase your total number of quests available you just need to play more.
Which seems much more likely than me being unlucky for more than a dozen weeks on every single area. That would be as likely as winning the lottery or even impossible since I have never even seen that once before CoM thus making me believe that there is a minimum amount of missions all the time normally and this can only be a bug. I've played the game for hundreds of hours. A screenshot like that beyond the tutorial is basically reaching beyond the reach of reality.
