Report a translation problem
As soon as there are eight missing trinkets, you should get a Champion level mission called the Shrieker. If you beat that ridiculous bird (it is arguably tougher than a Shambler), you get back your missing trinkets.
Warning: ill-considered Shrieker missions can easily lead to ANOTHER party wipe.
Unless you're my estate which apparently doesn't get trinket recovery events anymore, so dismas' head is forever lost.
Edit: never mind, complaining makes it better.
That explains why I've never seen anything but the Champion one, other than the random town event where trinkets are stolen from your inventory.
I'm fond of Ancestor's trinkets, the heads, the music boxes, etc. and almost have some of them.
