So the blood doesn't cure the crimson curse?
I was trying to avoid the Crimson Courtyard, until my guys were at least level 2 or something, but I don't know what happened... anyway, the thing is, I went to the courtyard and two of my characters got the crimson curse. I gave a vial of blood to one of them, and the curse never went away. First time, I gave it to my character out of battle and nothing happened. The other vial I had, I used it in the battle, and the curse remained in place. What's up with that? Wasn't that supposed to cure the curse?

The vial just stops them from dying from the curse and being thirsty.

You can only cure it by defeating Courtyard bosses or getting vials of antidote from the Fanatic.

The Blood is needed to keep heroes with the Crimson Curse alive. After enough time passes they will drop into a 'Craving' state with stat penalties and if they don't get Blood they go into 'Wasting'. If they still don't get blood they will die.

Giving them Blood puts them into a Bloodlust state with a damage and stat boost.

Noooooo. The blood vials have uses and purposes when the time comes. When a character has blood lust or is wasting - THAT is when you use a vial. A vial on someone who has no craving is a wasted one. There is no cure to the Curse unless you: A. drop one from the Fanatic. The Fanatic drops 1-2 cures upon his death. B. you defeat the Baron, Viscount or the Countess. After beating them, the curse will be removed until the next fight. C. Defeat all 3. Once all 3 have been vanquished, you can then take someone who has been afflicted to the Sanitarium for removal. I hope this helps you & good luck! :))

no, the blood is just their "food" that you need to bring in missions every time from on now, as you advance on the courtyard missions (the ones that requires invitation) you will find a way to remove it
(edit:I just tried to give a spoiler-free reply, well rip xd)

The Curse is being addicted to the Blood.

As a sidenote, you might want to try and bring a plague doctor with you to the Courtyard. Battlefield Medicine means you can save anti-venoms and bandages for curios or emergencies.

Wow, it seems I will see many members dying. I am bad at most games, and this is no exception. One other question if I may. Is the curse contagious?

And btw, thank you all very much for your replies, they're very appreciated!

Yes, but only between characters when you engage in stress healing in the same buildings. And then it's more likely if you engage in the same activity.

So if you need stress healing with infected and uninfected characters, segregate them to separate buildings, unless you're either indifferent to or for some reason actually want to increase the number of infected.

Not just streas healing. Sanitarium is contagious as well

Wow, those afflicted characters are really something lol Thanks again for the advice, will take it into account :)

A few other things of note. If you have blood in town, your hero will drink one when they are on the edge of death. So you don't have to worry about bringing them into battle just to feed them. if you worry about them taking up too much of your blood you might want to send out a fail party. Up to you.

Yes there is a chance the cursed person could spread it in one of the buildings with another non-curse. The more cursed there is, the higher the chance. So be careful. Thankfully there are two sanity buildings.

How many blood vials do you need to take per mission (short/med/long) for one character?

And approx how long it takes the charcter to die from having no blood? For example if you bring just one vial to Long mission, will it kill the cursed char if you won't find any more vials?

who knows honestly. To go from bloodlust to death takes about 145-212 rounds. Rounds are each round of battle, 1 round per section step of a hallway, and I think entering a room. So 1 vial might be good per person. Each hero left in town goes through 30 rounds.

I'm not sure if you reached districts yet, but the first one hands down is the one that gives you blood.
