Entering the Farmstead

So I feel stupid for asking this, but... how exactly do I do the first Farmstead quest, A Light in the Sky? The quest is available on the map, and I can select it and embark, but all it does is drop me in front of a locked door with a slot for an item. What item am I supposed to be using to enter?

In fact, you don't need an item to interact with the door.

You go up to the door and just interact with it. No item required.
