Not really. It would be if it was a flat damage increase everywhere, or didn't have a stress-penalty, but +10% stress and +20% healing with HUSK only extra damage is basically what I call a good filler trinket that only has one real purpose. It's great FOR that purpose, absolutely - especially on a character who can snipe any rank from her optimal spot and turn that snipe from kinda-OK into really OK, not even mentioning potential increase from non-backline VES (but really, who'd play that?) -- but even then I would often review the alternatives in my collection and think of combinations, with or without her CoM trink, depending on comp.
Trinkets like ♥♥♥ (+STUN +ACC) is cake-eating as that is all you could ever really want for standard non-transform play. HWM +SPD and +DMG for -StunRes is such a good trade you'd be laughing to the shard-bank. VES's is one I get later on when I have various other trinkets first. I'd still go as far as say that the VES is worth getting before JES simply because Bright Tambourine is perfect for endless as it is.
In VES's case she already has lots and lots of trinket combinations, but very few are a flat damage increase in that specific content - most don't even value this highly, which sucks for them.
The ♥♥♥ item is laugh-out-loud ridiculous, sure, but this thing is pretty busted considering it works vs trash mobs in endless, works against basically everything in DD, works against most bosses, works against most things in the cove, and works against plenty of things in the weald. If you're going in certain directions it's pretty much auto-equip. And it's probably worth grabbing before you do DD if you mean to bring vestals.
This is also a pro of the Occultist tanking trinket. Gives 30% prot vs. Eldricth. No small bonus.

TOP TIER
These are best in slot or insane value for their cost. Buy them as soon as you can afford them.
[Broken Key] - 6/5. Auto-equip on all Abomination builds, also insanely cheap. This should be the first Shard trinket you buy. Just crazy.
[Top Shelf Tonic] - 5/5. It's like a shopping list of everything you want on a Graverobber trinket. Buy buy buy.
[Thirsting Blade] - 5/5. Amazing bonuses. And the cool thing about this trinket is that its downside triggers 15% less often *due to its own Accuracy bonus*! It's nerfing its own penalty! You won't miss the occassional 5 HP on your Hellion anyways. Very expensive, but worth saving for.
-----------------------
RECOMMENDED
Buy these when you can afford them, they're good.
[Spectral Speartip] - 5/5. You want all these buffs for your Shieldbreaker. Downside is insignificant, although it will definitely happen at the most inopportune moment. The only thing that keeps it from being top-tier is that there are already a ton of great Shieldbreaker trinkets, so you can wait to buy this one.
[Crystalline Gunpowder] - 4/5. Negligible downside, and a great way to pump up your Highwayman's damage without turning him into a Stress sponge.
[Non-Euclidian Hilt] - 4/5. I want to give this a 5 so bad, but the Shard cost is just obscene. Still, it has perfect bonuses for your Crusader and if you ever save up the Shards, you'll enjoy it. I actually found the Random Target "penalty" to often be a boon, as the Crusader sometimes ends up hitting backliners he wouldn't normally have access to.
[Keening Bolts] - 4/5. Great Damage and Crit bonuses, which are what you want on your Arbalest, for a downside that actually turns out to be even weaker than it sounds. The Shard cost is punishing though.
[Miller's Pipe] - 3/5. This hovers right on the edge of a 4 for me. I settled on 3 because the cost is prohibitive. Very helpful in the Farmstead.

MEDIOCRE
These tend to have so-so value or effects that are available elsewhere. You should go ahead and get them if they have something you want. I wouldn't recommend grinding Endless to purchase them, but they are good ways to spend any Shards you have laying around.
[Dirge for the Devoured] - 3/5. Worth the cost. I prefer the Stress reduction from Bright Tambourine to the Damage bonus from this, since I use Jesters rather defensively. If you play an agressive Jester and want the Damage instead, I would put this one rank higher and Recommend it.
[Ashen Distallation] - 3/5. Good bonuses, but Plague Doctor trinkets always have good bonuses. If you really want Dodge and Blight in one slot, go ahead.
[Mask of the Timeless] - 3/5. The Dodge and Speed stats are good, but the Bounty Hunter already has easy access to them, and the Shard cost is high. I prefer Damage on my BH anyways.
[Petrified Amulet] - 3/5. This is fine, but you probably already have a Focus Ring or a Fortunate Armlet on your Leper. It's just too many Shards for a meh effect.
[Coat of Many Colors] - 3/5. Weird item that doesn't really feel like it's doing much. If you have a party build where one character is landing most of the killshots, you might enjoy it. Needed to unlock a secret achievement.

AVOID
These trinkets all have the same problem: there are just better ways to get the benefits they provide. Purchase them only very early or if you simply can't find a bonus you really want.
[Lens of the Comet] - 2/5. There are better ways to ignore Stealth and better trinkets to get a middling Crit bonus. It's cheap, but I say save your shards for the good trinkets.
[Heretical Passage] - 2/5. These are great stats if you're trying to damage-buff your Vestal, but if you're doing that, you're either playing DD wrong, or trying to play sub-optimally for fun. There's nothing wrong with doing that, so get this trinket if you are. If you're not though, get your ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ Vestal out of rank 2, she's a healer.
[Smoking Skull] - 2/5. Antiquarians are already super defensive and there are many common dodge trinkets.
-----------------------
DO NOT BUY
These trinkets have a fatal flaw and should not be purchased.
[Mirror Shield] - 1/5. Fun, fun idea, but really not good in practice. The character it's equipped to has to be attacked for it to fire (and you know how often enemy attacks land where you WANT them to land). Even then the damage reflected turns out to be peanuts. A real letdown - I hope they buff this in the future because it's a really neat item.
[Icosahedric Musket Balls] - 1/5. Instead of a Stress penalty on your Damage buff, would you prefer to hid the wrong target 1/5th of the time? I wouldn't. I also wouldn't like to pay 150 Shards for the privilege.
[Crystal Pendant] - 0/5. The math on this is absurd, you will have to rack up 440 shards to just break even on what you paid for it, and that's ignoring the Stress penalty you suffered the whole time. Nope.
[Cluster Pendant] - 1/5. You have to gather 400 shards before this one turns a profit. If you are kind of done with the main game and only plan on doing Endless runs forever, I guess it's a possibility?
-----------------------
YMMV
These are dependant upon your playstyle.
[Huskfang Whistle] - ?/5. This one is tough for me. It's a cool effect. You have to keep one of your Dog Treats in your inventory for it to work, so it essentially turns that Treat into a permanent 50% Bleed buff. That's huge. The Guard penalty is negligable (I don't tend to guard with Houndmasters anyway). But at the end of the day, I'm already stacking nice Bleed from other good trinkets on my Houndmaster and this is just blocking me from using one of my Treats. Maybe worth it to land Bleed on a highly-resistant boss? I think I *want* to like the trinket more than I actually do. If it sounds fun to play with, give it a try.
[Petrified Skull] - ?/5. If you like to frontline your Occultists, I think this is exteremely good. I don't, so it's not for me. It's very inexpensive.
[Acidic Husk Ichor] - ?/5. There are two ways Flagellants shine - one is loading them up with low-HP bonuses and grinding their health down till those bonuses all trigger. This trinket is GOLD for that playstyle and gets a 5/5. The other style is to just get value from the naturally strong stats of the class and trinket him up to have a huge HP pool which acts as a reservoir for his abilities. The Ichor is 0/5 for that build. You basically know immediately upon seeing this trinket for the first time whether you think it's amazing or terrible for your Flagellant, and whichever one you think, you're right.
