Ignore the pot. Focus fire the boss.
The accepted strategy is to simply ignore whoever is in the pot and go after the Hag, either with bleed DoTs, or with characters who can consistently hit the back row, such as Helion (w/ Iron Swan), Arbalest, and Houndmaster.
i would suggest not to take the helion, she suffle them around too frequant from relaying on a hellion on position 1, beside that, +1
You probably meant "isn't the best"? He's the worst choice in this comp. The others are kind of okay.
The Hellion is good for the Hag fights. The Hag doesn't shuffe heroes (apart from putting one in the pot, which you should ignore anyways). Besides, the Hellion can hit her even from rank 2 and 3 with "If It Bleeds".
Hellion with Iron Swan and If It Bleeds can reach the Hag.
I found arbalest, vestal, bounty hunter, hellion very easy, or you can go arbalest, vestal, hound master, bounty hunter but your hound can only harry if he gets shuffled to 1st position. All those guys can hit the hag, use bounty hunter to mark since he can't hit her with bounty the mark is to buff the arbalest. If you have wulfs trophy she does a TON of damage, I crit for like 50. You can use occultist and mark with him but hag has aoe so I prefer vestal.
It's not uncommon for me to just not bother taking a Healer and heading right to her with 4 DPS. Assuming you get there, she just melts. It is only difficult if you prioritize pot. Seriously, don't bother. There's no need to.
This. I usually turn on a couple camp healing skills if I run into Skivers and the like on the way. If not and the witch is tough enough to damage me, I use it after the witch. If not, I use it while or after mopping up the rest of the level, if I do that at all.
