Darkest Dungeon - Lighting The Way (Quest) - Trinkets
I've just finished the first of the darkest dungeons (We Are The Flame), so now I'm heading to the second (duh!).
My party'll be Arbalest - Occultist - Houndmaster - Man at Arms, and I'd like some suggestions about what trinkets I should bring (since 3 of the heroes will only be able to bring one trinket besides the Talisman of the Flame). Also, which of them shouldn't get the Talisman of the Flame, and instead get guarded by the Maa?
Finally, I was thinking about equipping the Ethereal Crucifix on the Houndmaster, so he would get a fricking huge bonus against the Templar Imaplers and Warlords, since they are Eldritch/Beast, and for an extra bleed resistance, but is it worth it? Or is the HP penalty really that harsh?
I'm quite inexperienced, so I'd love to hear you guys' opinions! (not only about the trinkets, but party comp and all that ♥♥♥♥...)

The occultist should go without the torch, normally whenever someone runs this mission, they leave the healer without the torch to max out the healing capabilities. The Man at Arms however, if you have it, give him the ancestors pen, that trinket is pretty broken. Houndmaster I would say take dismas's head over the etherial crusifix, it's half the hp penality, a little extra stress (But you have 2 campfires so no need to worry) and give the ancestors musket ball to the arbalist.

These are high end trinkets yes, but if your about to do the last 3 DDqs then you will need them, they are some of the most powerful trinkets in the game.

I don't agree with the above about trinkets. Sun Ring >> Musket ball and Ancestor Pen. The only good Ancestral trinkets are the Map, Scroll, Pistol and Candle.

I'd give a torch to the Occultist and leave it off the Arbalest in this party. Arb is tanky and fairly expendable. Losing your Occultist or getting him afflicted is basically forced retreat.
