What can i do if my characters are lvl 3 and boss lvl 1

I bought the game yesterday, and my favourite group now its lvl 3, but the boss its level 1 and they dont want to go. I have to make a new group or can i level up the boss?

Yes You can recruit new people for the stagecoach. When a centain hero gets to a certain lvl they get a ''ego boost''. (also counts for bosses) That means that they wont go to a dungeon that is way below them. (the games counter to taking 3 lvl 6 hero's and 1 lvl 1 hero into a lvl 5 dungeon to get more xp for the lvl 1. atleast that is how i saw it

ro problem, and yes all bosses have 3 stages. (like the dungeons you have: Green, yellow and red) the bosses work in the same way for example SPOILER! (you have a necromancer boss. He will only appear in a lvl 1 -3 room so you have to beat him with a party of lvl 1-3. After you beat him you will meet the (upgraded version) of him. And he can only be taken out by a lvl 3-5 party. And at last you will meet the necromancer lord witch you can only try with a lvl 6 party. However take all this with a grain of salt because i havent played this game for a while.

SPOILER! btw you have to beat the lvl 1-3 boss to unlock the next boss (all dungeon have 2 bosses) then the next boos will be the lvl 3-5 boss (keep in mind the dungeon to the boss will become harder and harder

I think you meant taking a level 6 to a level 1 dungeon to carry the level 0's. There is nothing stopping you from taking level 0's to Champion dungeons or the Darkest one.

When your heroes become Level 3 they will refuse to adventure into Green level dungeons(Levels 0-2 considered Novice). At Level 5 they will refuse to adventure into Orange level dungeons (lvl 3-4 considered Veteran).
What I recommend to do is to go into boss battle dungeons with a mix of level 1's and 2's or even a level 0 in them before they ALL level up to 3 preventing them from finishing all the bosses. If its important that you get the bosses all done (you don't actually need to since the Darkest Dungeon is the one you'll need to finish.) I would recommend this strat with losing heroes in mind to keep the barracks with low enough units in them. The reason is that while you may not want to lose heroes it'll be better to lose them at their early levels over when they become levels 5 and 6 and it will hopefully ease you into this game's theme of heroes are expendable and allow the brightest to advance to Veteran and the absolute best into Level 5.

A quick tip (mild spoiler warning, perhaps) heroes who survive a run in the Darkest Dungeon don't count in your roster total. So complete your first level, and even if your roster is full, you can get four more spaces.

Be sure to have multiples of your most-used classes. Don't get attached to individual heroes! And your English is very good; you have nothing to be embarrassed about!
