There are no tooltips whatsoever?

Hey guys,

Just started playing this game, looks really nice but i'm having a real hard time getting the hang of it because simply NOTHING is explained in this game. There don't seem to be any tooltips when i hover over things so i have no idea what items do, what abilities do and so forth.

Am i supposed to play this game while browsing a third party site for explanations or am i missing something here?

There's tooltips for literally everything... this sounds like a bug. Try verifying files and see if that fixes it.

So when i hover over an item in my inventory or in the shop i should get a tooltip with an explanation? Cause i definitely don't have that right now. I already found it strange that i couldn't find anything on google about this, like i'd be the only one complaining about this lol...

You sure this doesn't have to do anything with dlcs? Cause i have them all i believe.

Positive. I also own all the DLCs and get tool-tips the instant I mouse-over an ability, skill, item or trinket.

Okay never mind... it's working now that i restarted my game. I'm also getting actual basic info popups now...

Verifying files - solved my problem with tooltips.

I was having the same issue and was about to uninstall the game till i found this post and tried restarting the game...

I had all tooltips disappear as well. Very hard to play when you new in game. I suppose maybe because I removed Butcher Circus which I realized is useless pvp mod.

thanks for this post. was about to search for a mod or something. just my luck to have my first game have this bug
