Flagellant, the Hamlet's whipping boy
I really like the flagellant. He's a unique take on the roster up to that point, a hero that gets more powerful the more dire things become. Much of his class trinkets reflect this, giving benefits when you are under 40% health.

He's the only hero with % based heals, making it scale really well with tanky allies. Since two of his heals need to have him at a 40% health threshold, it means having a lot of health himself can mitigate the risk. He's also one of the only two heroes with a 'lifesteal' attack which can be helpful in really close battles.

His damage and health isn't amazing, but unlike other low damage heroes he has a lot of ways to augment it in your favor. Bleed and -Bleed resist makes it a good choice for bleed heavy teams. He can't do much to the back line but unlike similar heroes like the Leper but he is much faster.

Rapturous is this weird mix of an affliction and virtue. It gives a nice speed and damage buff, but since you still have to deal with the random act-outs it's still pretty risky to bank on. It is hilarious to have a blood raged rapturous low hp flagellant though, and he can sometimes facilitate some crazy upsets in battles that seemed hopeless.

He's a an excellent hero for the Crimson Court obviously, though I feel like his trinket set isn't all that great. Martyrs seal practically does the same thing and you can just pair it with chipped tooth for nice hp and near max deathblow resist. I try to lock in +10%hp, +10%stress heal and -10% stress since it feels like you need to keep him both alive and away from heart attacks as best you can.
