Macbool Air 2015 Overheat
MacBook perfectly meets the system requirements, but during the game the MacBook warms up insanely, and the cooler starts to make a lot of noise.

Don't know what to do with this problem. I don't think that is any problems with the system.

Can anyone help me?

System requirements are not always accurate. Do you have the issue on other games? Have you tried cleaning it up? You can also try locking fps to lower value, such as 30

I have such problems only with DD. Macbook slightly heated in Hearthstone with max resolution and settings, but still pretty silent.

And I read discussions on the forum that many people with older versions of the MacBook do not have such problems.

This game is a bit mild on resources. If the system (and the macbook itself) does not have the minimal specs it may cause them to outwork itself. refer to the game page on store and verify the requisited specs.

In other way, look for the RECOMMENDED rather than MINIMAL specs.

Checked requirements again. Only that not meet - screen resolution. Resolution on Mac is 1440x900, but I don't think is a big deal.

Screen resolution is not the issue. I am talking about os version, ram, gb, etc.

Then the problem is the computer itself.

I'm playing DD on a MacBook Pro from 2012 without any problems. But I have the same issues you described while playing Duskers, which doesn't seem to require a lot. I guess a Mac is just not made for gaming and you have to be lucky. I hope you will get it sorted out, DD is a great game.

I really like DD, but my Mac is just can't run it with normal heat. Sad, but nothing can solve it, I think. I saw people in discussions with the same problem, but they either did not answer, or nothing useful came out.

Checked the overheating problems in games like Hearthstone and Invisible, Inc. Both this games have much higher system requirments, but there is not overheating at all.

That's why I think that my MacBook is not a source of the problem.

If the game was the source, then most people WOULD have the same problem. My Acer Aio is working ok right now.

Why not bootcamp windows 7/10 and solve this one and for all? Maybe the game is not optimized in it's mac os version.

I have the GOG version of darkest dungeon, the game has no fps cap and no vsync enabled, so basically it will run away and try to achieve the highest fps possible stressing your machine. It maybe just the version i have but it was doing it to me on windows. If it's possible to force vsync on mac that would at least cap fps to you monitors refresh rate. It's important for people who are trying to help you to know more also, is the game stuttering? is fps drops? this stuff matters.

There is no problems like stuttering and FPS drops. Works pretty smooth. I would say perfectly, but overheat just killing my mac
