Esquires ? They're super less tanky than Chevaliers, I can one shot them with Dueslist Advance + Holy Lance... ( most of the time, they just press The Thirst before doing anything, so I don't really think they're dangerous ) Just focus them ^^
But anyways, back to Chevaliers.
I personally find them more manageable in the higher level dungeons. I only found them to be the worst when I was still new to the Courtyard. But with their low Stun resist, and very low SPD, you can neutralise them before they hurt your party too much (plus they have no AoE attacks, so guarding an ally is a very viable strategy with them).
