Skimming the main issues (starting on about minute 7):
1) Turn based combat is boring.
If you don't like turn based games, you won't like DD. Simple as that. Turn based combat provides very different strategic choices from real time games and a very different feel that some people don't like.
2) Over-reliance on randomness.
Every RPG uses a lot of randomness. It's been built into the genre since people started playing Dungeons and Dragons. Because Darkest Dungeon is hard, bad players will feel the bad outcomes of randomness more than in some other games.
3) Massive grind.
Well, in some sense, the grind is the game. You go into dungeons, kill monsters, get loot, rinse and repeat. Your characters get stronger, you upgrade the town. Eventually, you get strong enough to go into harder areas. Not that much different from what you'd expect in a typical MMO or whatever. If you aren't into that sort of thing, you won't like DD.
4) Lack of gameplay variety.
This depends a lot on the player, I think. If you're just using the same sorts of characters in the same dungeons, the gameplay variety will seem quite low. If you push yourself to be creative with the options you have available, you'll get more out of the experience. The game also has a fairly rich modding community, so you can experiment with that if you need more variety in gameplay.
I just needed to quote this again in case you start reading from the bottom :)
