How am I suppose to get rid of 50+ quirks?
It's literally mathematically impossible to get rid of all the negative quirks, but they only keep increasing in numbers, it's a mathematical garuntee that it's impossible to finish any game because you will inevitably be overrun with at least 20 negative quirks per character. Surely the developers can't be that incompitent, so what built-in way to deal with this is there?

If a hero gains a negative quirk when s/he already has 5, one of older ones is automatically removed.

Each hero can also keep up to 5 positive quirks, so it should be manageable.

all my heroes are quirk-free, so theres that.
But anyway you are only supposed to remove the really bad ones and play around the others.
Negative quirks are intended to affect the gameplay permanently as a system, not to be removed. That said, most of them have very little negative impact as is...

On difficulties without week limits it is trivially easy to make most of your roster negative quirk free if you have the Crimson Court DLC because the Bank is OP.

It's a balancing act, you have to consider what quirks are managable enough to leave, and which ones are too bad to ignore.

Best ♥♥♥♥ is when you get ranged penalties on people like Hellion and crusader or melee penalties on Arbalest.

Yes it is literally mathematically impossible to win the game.

This has to be the dumbest thing i have read this year. And it was a very trump year.

You can't be this stupid.. This has to be a windup.

Absolutely possible. I'm somewhere around week 65 in my current playthrough. My roster is virtually free of negative quirks, not because it's essential but because I'm a bit pedantic about it. Make sure to get the sanitarium fully upgraded and to have a lot of money at your disposal (bank). And go visit the Warrens and the Cove a lot because they have plenty of quirk-removing curios. How did you come up with "20 negative quirks per character"?

That honestly sounds like a blatent lie, it's mathematically impossible for one sanitarium to account for that many quirks throughout the game when they only increase every single turn.

Randomly barging into a thread to offer zero resolution nor any evidence of any claim, just to troll for no reason, is literally the most trump thing I've seen all year, just a teaspoon of irony short of the actual man himself.

There are ways to clean quirks during dungeons too. Not going to spoil anything from you, but experiment with the curios and you will find it.

Most negative quirks are literally inconsequential. You only need to 'clean' the handful ones which are bad during combat (slowdraw, calm, etc) and even these ones are manegeable. Honestly, you can pretty much ignore quirks altogether for a given playthrough and still be alright.

I recommend defer yourself for making statements like 'mathematically impossible' when you just started playing the game. There is a lot of people around with hundreds of hours in this game who will point and laugh at you. Ask questions and you will get help, but hyperbole for the sake of saltiness won't get you far.

It's litterally impossible given the projection I've made. The only microscopic shred of anything to resolve that issue is the singular, non-troll non-waste-of-time statement that "the max is 5" though that doesn't offer any information as to how to prevent or cure 5 quirks EACH from 12-20 characters.

You cure them 3 per week, while only gaining 1.5 on average every dungeon run,
which is the case if you leave with low stress and ofc no afflictions,
which is possible when/if you learn how to play whe game well,
which is actually impossible if you continue to call everything hard-ish impossible and thus never realizing your own mistakes (not sure if it applies to you but that how it usually goes with salty noobs)
Chezz Nov 27, 2017 @ 10:08am
Well, plenty of people with quirk-free rosters around, so your statement is clearly false.
You only have less than 6 hours played, really think you are somehow ready to make any statement about the game?
Keep playing and you will find by yourself that it's perfectly possible if you are dedicated enough.
