Small inventory/backpack
Any way to increase capacity of the in-dungeon inventory? I am usually at capacity before I am even halfway through the dungeon.

You can go to the workshop and Subscribe to a mod that increases the stack limits of items, and increases the max number of slots, But the game cant visualize an invintory that big, so it may look off or odd,

Thats the point
you either go prepared and take mediocre loot or go greedy and risk your heroes lives in exchange for treasures

usually the decision that is to be made is: gold or heirlooms? or both? not being able to take everything is part of that gameplay element

Depends on what you need for the run, also you can clear the map of battles then when the mission is finished go back for chests you left unopened provided you still have torches and just dump supplies before clicking the finish button

Got it. Makes sense. Another trade off equation....

Priorities, priorities, priorities.

With boss runs - priority is to beat the boss, so I never compromise my supplies for treasure, unless it's something like a shovel or food and I'm a corridor away from the boss.

For other times, consider the following:

- Are you nearly at the end of your dungeon run? If so, you can probably get rid of things like holy water, bandages, potions, etc, because the chances of you needing them now would be slim, and even if you do, you're almost at the end and can survive.

- The costs and stack amounts. Got 4 pieces of a jewel that's worth 500 gold each and need space for the 750 one? Well, 4 x 500 will be worth more, even if each one is less than the 750 one and the chances of you finding 4 more of 750 one to complete the stack of 5 is very slim.
Or you have one space left and the treasures are a jewel worth 500 or some money/gold worth 350. The gold will be a safer option to go for since it drops much more frequently and stacks up to 1750 per stack. Or say you pick up a trinket. The cheapest ones are worth something like 750 gold. So even if you don't need the trinket itself, you can always sell it later, so its face price needs to be taken into account.

- What do you need the most? Need to upgrade your tavern? Then the portraits will be more important than say the crests or the deeds. Or maybe you need to upgrade the nomad wagon, then the crests will be more important. And so on.

- Planning. You have a camping log occupying 1 space. From scouting you can see a treasure room up ahead and your inventory is full or almost full. It might be worth to camp before you go into that room, so that when you get the treasures, you have an extra space available where the log has been.

Hope these help. Strangely enough, I do somewhat enjoy inventory management in this game (something I normally can't stand in most games). It really gets me to think critically.

Throw away usless stuff. I usually get rid of antivenom/bandages/holy water first then i throw away trinkets, only rare and above worth taking, because green cost less then a stack of gold, also low-cost gems. Food and torches i usually try to hopd for as long as possible.
Well, at least that is what i used to do. Now there is bank, and there is no sense in trying to take anything. Yeah... This thing is basically infinite gold.
