Class Mods?
Hey all, anyone have opinions on some great class mods. I have tried A TON already and love alot of them, but personally feel like the falconeer is the only class mod that not only seems to perfectly fit into the game but seems PERFECTLY balanced. IMO a lot of other class mods just dont hit the nail on the head either being too op or too underwelming :/

I like all of Muscarine's mods (Like the Fawn or the Tusk), Exaelus's mods (Like the Seer or the Prodigy). The Twilight knight is also pretty cool. If you are playing with modded classes, I think you might need to relax your standards a little, if the Falconer is the only one that is ok in your opinion. Many classes are no more OP than the Hellion or the Plague Doctor.

Marvin Seo's classed (Falconeer, Lamia, Thrall) all fit into the game very well and are extremely well integrated into the game being both balanced but also different enough from the existing classes to be worth while.

Muscarine's mods (Sacrifice, Hollow, Fawn, Tusk, Tifa, Hood) are extremely well made and the skill and dedication to detail put into those classes is actually quite high (the Tifa class mod uses sounds cut from FF7 - totally doesn't fit the game, but awesome). They don't entirely fit the game's design or balance but they provide a unique perspective of play and does provide alternatives... some times it can absolutely stomp dungeons/bosses... other times it can wipe a party in moments.

While some of the classes may seem over powering and others may seem underwhelming - many of them are are that way to provide an alternative method of play to players. While one class may seem outright OP and others completely Underwhelming - when you consider the limitations and powers of the Bounty Hunter, Hellion, Plague Doctor, Occultist, Arbalst and Abombination... Many class mods are not actually all that OP or UP by comparison.

When in the right situation, many of the default classes can effectively carry a group through most any dungeon... when taken out of the right situation - those same classes can easily lead you to a full grave yard and abandoned runs. The same goes for Class Mods.

Class mods are just for fun and optional. They only make gameplay interesting in terms of strategies you use with a mixture of vanilla and modded heroes. But having too many heroes (especially if you have a larger roster) mean less progress in your game (cuz you can only level up 4 heroes per week) and more grinding, if you don't mind.

Remember, the point of DD is to destroy everyone in your path, get loot, destroy everyone again, get more loot, go inside Darkest Dungeon and kill whoever's in there to "win" the game. It doesn't matter if you mod or not. Enjoy the game and the stress.
