Is the viscount that hard?
I've seen a couple of discussions saying that the viscount took a lot of heroes from them, and it was not my case. My party was HM HWM Crusader and flagellant. Anyone died and I did it in my first try (killing all the corpses)

Why so? Because they were lucky. The Viscount likes to crit his meal before feasting. I mean, he is doable, even on your first attempt. But he relies on his crit(and sometimes riposte) to actually be a threat.

Some people even said he started getting threatening and wiping out parties after killing the body bags because he kept spamming hungry eyes(This boosts his crit and lowers his damage).
Even with a -75%(?) damage debuff he is still able to do +12 crits on your heroes on every riposte. This happened in my case and so I lost a Plague Doctor and Bounty Hunter.

I still enjoyed the fight, I was ready to lose them because the Baron was huge pain in the butt.
Can't wait to fight ghe CC bosses in bloodmoon. The baron was very hard, but with a good dot and debuff party it's easy. I would like to experience a hard viscount fight, the corpse mechanics look really interesting, and the countess, I spoiled myself about her fight. It looks like stunning while she's flushed is effective, and she can only stun the backrow heroes. I shouldn't have spoiled myself, it looks like a very intense fight, although you can just stun her and win in round 7

The Viscount is a RNG fight, plain and simple. I lost 9 heroes to him, then killed him in 3 rounds flat on my 4th attempt. While I completely agree with the inevitable "Git Gud" Mentality we're bound to see here, sometimes the RNG sends a NOPE ninja to dragon kick you. (Missing an 85% shot 4 times in a row is an example) When I went back in, my Crusader crit for 40+ 3 times in a row, followed up by a PBS from the highway man for an additional 50... Sometimes I don't know why I play this game...

They're not different in bloodmoon. With a proper team, the Baron isn't a treat. Viscount is always a threat tho, the main thing with this guy is getting a team with average speed, not "huge speed", so he doesn't spend 4 turns in a row hitting you. Since he got more HP, he's harder to burst down, but with some preparation and a decently high HP team, you can manage it in very few turns. (Arba/Man at arms and maybe ♥♥♥ are kinda advised for this fight as they have high HP, high utility or DMG and are safe picks overall.)
About the countess, I found her very trivial with a proper team, both in normal and bloodmoon. She's sort of laughable to me since she has way too many flaws to be good and give you WAY too much room to play.

Lowering that "RNG" in this fight by bringing up high HP character help amongstly.
