Holy Water, Stress, & Crimson Curse
So twice now I've made the mistake of using holy water on my heroes infected with the crimson curse and both times they recieved the full benefits it normally grants and didn't suffer any of the downsides they're supposed to get.

Additionally, I've noticed that attacks which do damage as well as stress will occasionally not apply stress to my infected heroes - most notably when a sycophant uses "the thirst" on an infected hero.

Has anyone else experienced either of these two things? I don't recall reading any patch notes saying anything about this and I haven't dinked around with any files. It's so odd.

I believe they changed how holy water affects crimson cursed heroes depending on the stages of their craving .

If I remember right Holy Water doesn't harm crimson curse sufferers who are in the passive state of the curse. It's the more severe stages where it becomes harmful. As for infected heroes not taking stress damage sometimes, I'm not sure. During the blood lust phase of the curse I have seen a variety of odd effects including some positive ones like random stress healing. The effect you are describing with the stress portion on an attack not applying sounds like it could be a bug, but then again the fact that it is a blood sucker you are noticing this from could indicate it's intentional behavior.

I just tried holy water on craving state and bloodlusted state and there are no negative effect, they receive the usual buff. Did the dev alter the effect of holy water on crimson curse? Or this is a bug?

Yeah it looks like people crying about it led them to change the rule. They have massively nerfed the negative side of the crimson curse since back when it was first released. I guess this is just one more way they weakened it's down side. At this point I think the curse is pretty much a blessing, at least on your damage dealers. On healers and stunners not so much, but for your dedicated damage dealers the upsides are just so overwhelmingly good compared to the downsides.

Is that so? i prefer the negative effect of holy waters though, it adds a novelty element to the game.
