Can't Record 1440x900 Resolution

So to play this game has been a pain in my butt, long story short I'm forced to use fullscreen at any given time. But I like to record, and even stream occasionally - but it makes the stream and recordings go off center. I currently use OBS, but I doubt that's the problem, concerning all of the google pages I've found, a lot of people seem to have this difficulty (and have since at least 2015) who have my type of resolution.

I understand if my monitor is a strange one, but seriously? This game doesn't even support my resolution? In the options, I can't even choose a 1440x900, so if I want to play windowed mode, I'm forced to deal with it being too big or small.

Ah, yes. I've used the work around, going into my steam properties and doing the whole -size 1440 900. It works - if I don't wish to record. But alas, I do, and it still off centers.

Anyone have any ideas of -any- workarounds? I'm pretty desperate at this point. I'm in the process of getting a new monitor, which, admittedly is rediculous considering it's for the sole purpose of making a single game work for recording, but until then, I would appreciate any and all advice concerning this matter.

Try -capture launch option

I tried it before, but I decided to again, just to make sure. Alas, it didn't work. Perhaps I should note that, even without any launch options, it works until a game is loaded. After clicking on a past save, once it's loaded, the screen within OBS becomes smaller, and shifted to the left hand bottom corner.

You're having off centre? That's fine. I started getting black screen (and the only solution seemed to play in full screen borderless windowed mode instead of full screen. That captured without problems. It might fix your off centre issue as well.

My monitor is 1360 by 768 so you're not the only person with an odd sized monitor.

I'm also using OBS Classic, not the new one. That might be making a difference as well.

I don't even see an option for borderless full screen mode. There's literally a check box for, "Fullscreen" and that's it. But to be fair, this game doesn't support my monitor, so I'd still have to go to the launch options and add the -size 1440 900 in any event. In fullscreen mode, I actually don't have resolution issues, though of course the same problem occurs when I record.

I suppose the real question is; what are you asking me to do?

Edit: Decided -with- the -size 1440 900 I would toggle fullscreen on and off, unfortunately no success.
