Kill the enemies that stress your team.

Woah there, you just asking for a mod that tears out a heart of the game.
I dunno such mods but if something pops-out here i would like to see it too.

not "every single thing" adds stress to your heroes but there are some moves that you do that give stress like the abomination's transformation. (gives everyone 10 stress i think) You can kill the mobs enemies that give you stress right away if you really dont like it and there are abilities that remove stress.

haven't seen a mod for removing stress though :( hope this still helps you manage the "stress" problem

Although I do not know any mod that does this, I have some advice on how to lower stress. First, is to make a comp that can hit the back row. Most enemies in the back row of battes are the enemies that stress you out. Of course, you need to outspeed them in order to not get stressed, which is why speed is one of the most important stats. When upgrading your buildings, always upgrade weapons first, for weapons give you speed, accuracy, crit, and damage. Most importantly speed. There are also several trinkets that may boost your speed. A good combo is a Sun Ring and a Berserk Charm. The Berserk charm is 15% damage, 3 speed, some extra stress damage, and -10 accuracy. The accuracy is bad, but if you have a sun ring or focus ring, you can counter that loss.
yeah and please a mod for preventing taking damage and getting bleed and blight. Also i'd like to have a mod that stops my team getting hungry, getting bad quirks and please let the torches be lit all the time. Oh, and no traps. Thanks.

heck no! just learn how to not get stressed out or how to fix it fast!
i enjoy mods but not if it makes the game easy..this game is not suppose to be easy! and it better not be! background, skins and class mods are all you need! there are like 50 class mods..they all for the most part work pretty darn good and very balance..not one class makes the game any easier!

please don't go asking for mods to make the game easy..that is how you destroy such a good game..play another game if its above your skill level!

Can I have a mod that makes bloodsuckers attack their own team and the heart of darkness come onto itself?

funny thing is there are loads of mods that make your char unbeatable. but nothing that mods stress, found a mod that increase stress healing for some char skills.

and the people getting bent out of shape, its a single player game, who cares..

Like many of the replies here, stress is an integral part of the gameplay experience, and when you learn how to manage it you feel like a champion. After awhile you'll not only figure out which enemies cause stress and how to deal with them quickly and efficiently, but you'll learn which combat and camping skills can be used to heal stress damage.

As a result of that, I'm often leaving medium dungeons with low/no stress damage and ready to head back out. Camping can make a world of difference and as a result often makes Medium runs much safer than short runs

You can turn off heart attacks in the options.

I would suggest use Darkest Dungeon Easy Mode in conjunction with Virtue Only, it doesn't remove stress, but (unless you're outleveled for a dungeon) whenever stress checks apply, you only get positive buffs, rather than the negative ones.

I don't know how it will affect the DLC though, considering the only Virtue Check you can get for Flagellant is considered a negative one, perhaps there is a patch for it but I personally don't know if there is one or not.

I know how you feel, OP. When I played Skyrim, I didn't want to deal with the pesky leveling system, it just took long. And in Bioshock, the fact that I could be killed made the game way too hard. But that's what mods are for right?

There are a few mods that involve "Better" Stress heal. Though you can't really totally get rid of it. You could go through and give every character a stress heal effect like the one the Jester has. I added it to most of the major heal spells in my game. Though I don't know how to publish it as a mod.

The Stress system in this game is just nonsense.

If you can manage your stress well you should be fine without mods. Just be sure to send high stress characters to stress relief in between missions. While in combat I always aim for the stress inducing rascals first and I hardly ever have to deal with stress because of it.
