Maybe it's early, or I'm just really slow, but what do you mean exactly when you say trigger encounters? And how would one do that? I'm assuming you mean trigger encounters with the Gatekeeper.
So you're saying maybe if you have one encounter in a dungeon with the Gatekeeper you are more likely to have a second?
Do long dungeons. Also yes, I have encountered multiple gatekeepers within the same dungeon.
I expect him/her to die horribly. Thank you for the honor.
I won't disappoint in the failing horribly department.
and then round up all 4 boys/grills into a dungeon when the infestation is high
you're BOUND to get at least one invitation this way
it's bull$hit and annoying, though i guess a modder could remove that invitation limitation...
They only drop from gatekeepers. Normally, killing a courtyard boss wipes your invitations and resets them to 0. Now, killing one will grant you 1 invitation (was patched in on July 6th)
That's the only way to get them in my experience, just gotta wait until Infestation is high, then they will show up, the dodgy little buggers.
