Why people tend to sexualize this game so much?

I've been looking for mods on nexus for quite a while, been digging through fanart, and i keep seeing it.
Hell, there's even a mod on Nexus that turns camping into a Sexy Time for crying out loud.
I am not against such thing, don't get me wrong.
I just can't understand while people even have such things flowing through their minds while playing this.
This game's setting is just not suited for this. It's all about pain and suffering, madness and torment, and overall eldritch abomination shenanigans. It just doesn't work in my eyes.
I can understand many things, but i can not understand THIS.
I just want to know, why and how.

But IMO, in short, is that there is a Brothal in game, as well as few other sexual-related quirks. This acknowledge "sex-in-game", which lead to people imagination of what else could be going on in game.

Wouldn't you be sparing yourself the violence of this game as well? I think the game (including the courtesean and offering mods and the brothel/quirks surrounding sexuality) address sexuality properly, my issues is sexuality that's just thrown on a plate, it's juvenille. There's no reasoning, it's out of place etc. I know porn does this too but we aren't watching it for the plot. Not only that where's the male sexuality?

I can't understand why people get upset about what other people do in the privacy of their own homes?

Hell, I saw a mod the other day for Stardew Valley of all things that lets you turn one of the girls into a BDSM ponygirl to ride around like a horse. It's not my bag, but it's nothing to get upset or obsess about, no one is being harmed by people having tastes that I find weird.

Honestly I find the fact that people purposely eat vegemite more uncomprehensible than someone wanting to look at nekkid pictures of the opposite sex. I would hope that we could all at least marginally understand why people do that...

I think the deal is more that tasteful sexuality can still entice but not lose immersion in the game, such as the courtesan or offering. The only male mod that's remotely enticing is the viking.

It's kinda like flat out sex mods are sort of meh, if the modder put just a bit more time or sophistication in it instead of "here's boobs" or whatever it could be enjoyable, keeps immersion and enhances gameplay.

But you are right, if someone has a problem with it, they simply don't have to install that mod. There's plenty of legit taste out there.
