What strategies do you guys like for the Fulminating Prophet?
What heroes do you guys like to bring and what strategies work well for you?

https://youtu.be/wUOuPr0qons

I manage to take this guy out over a cup of coffee using a mark party (kind of) and just debuffing with the OC and focusing on attacking the Prophet and ignoring the pews. Am I correct in thinking the pews drop money?

Let me know how you guys like to deal with this boss. It's off to champion dungeons for me now (mostly). Wish me luck.

The pews are worth 1250 gold each, but each one takes up a separate inventory slot, so it isn't usually worth killing them for gold. I've killed the first one on occasion if I have somebody who can only hit effectively to rank 3, but I've never killed either of the back ones that I can recall.

Mark team with Occultist debuffs is a solid strategy against him for sure.

Good to know I wasn't missing out on a pile of cash. Off to deal with the Shrieker now.

You'll only lose out on gold, nothing drastic. Occultist reducing his damage trivializes this fight way too much. I just used Vestal + Occultist + Highwayman + Hellion and had no issues, it also helped that everyone dodged his first damaging move (The rocks falling down, forget name).

I just had the Vestal because I wanted to play it safe, since the Occultist doesn't have time to be doing anything else but keeping up max debuff stacks. Highwayman + Hellion (With the Vestal helping here and there) destroyed the pews fairly quickly.

Edit: Shrieker is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, stack as much dodge as possible and don't bother bring a designated healer because you won't be out healing his damage.

Mein gott, there might be a use for intimidate. I want to make a party that kills all the pews, but even with occultist debuffs the prophet does a lot of damage if I take that long. However once we're down two pews I could have the leper help with debuffs and let the occultist heal some.

I wish bosses could respawn somehow so I didn't have to replay the entire game to fight them again.

Well you do get to play them three times, but I see your point. It would take a long time running through the whole thing again.

Non-champion bosses barely count. I brought my antiquarian party to the prophet, due to the whole, "Bring an ATQ to a boss fight? Are you mad?" factor. It was only vaguely threatening on champion. I wasn't in any danger of losing, but I couldn't heal up enough to finish the rest of the quest, and had to complete it.
