The Sodden Crew, what is a good strategy for this odd Boss?
I played terribly against this boss but still managed to beat it. I know I'm using my Man-at-arms poorly, can you guys tell me what I could have done differently?

I'm still figuring the Cove out. What heroes and strategies do you guys like against this strange boss.

I can imagine the harder versions of this boss can make your party have a very bad day.

I think mostly it's just frustrating. It's hard for him to actually kill you, but he's got enough health and regeneration that unless your party has huge DPS (or cheeses him), then you're in for a really long, awful log.

Afflictions much? I've yet to been a battle where everyone just falls apart due to stress and compounding afflictions. It would make for a great video at least.
I tried teams with crusaders and strong mitigation. Got fun case of perfect Draw when neither could push through... Turned out Crusader with vs unholy in quirks and rings (and gentle tide event) often fail to oneshot anchorman without crit... Plan was perfect otherwise :)

Beating Crew is mostly about wrecking for me.
Best result was with 2 aboms going head-on. Jester, Cultist, 2 aboms. 3 mobile characters and quite damaging healler plus Rakes selfbuff worked exeptionally.

Beaten the champion crew yesterday, a bounty hunter with +move chance trinkets make this boss fight the easiest in the game, just use Flashbang or Come Hither on crew when the anchorman is out (Flashbang usually works at 1st try) and congratulations! This "boss" is now unable to use it's signature and most dangerous attack, and the anchorman on rank 4 can just pass the turn endlessly 'til sailors death come to take 'em. So much fun ^^

My team was Jester (for finale and stress heal) Crusader (+ damage vs unholy, stun, heal and stress heal) Bounty Hunter (really just for the "move the boss" tactic and PROT debuff) and Houndmaster (for guard dodging, PROT debuff and stress heal) quest ended with heroes at full health and 0 stress, and I had to kill a collector too ^^
