How to Get The Shrieker?

Or just got a party wipe, Shrieker will appear in weald, and you got the chance defeat it to recalm your lost trinket.

Once he has 8 of your trinkets lost by death he will appear, there is also a random town event when he steals 8 of your trinkets and you have to go get them back

You don't even need to kill him to get your stuff back! Just focus on destroying his nest. In addition to your stolen trinkets, you'll also get some treasure for your trouble.

Shrieker is a fun enemy because while he's difficult to kill before he flies away, its not necessary. He doesn't do huge damage hits and is mainly there to be a pest and stress out a bunch of your guys. Blow up your nest and go for the treasure. Killing him is an added benefit.

I had no idea what I was doing when fighting. I got really excited when he flew away as I thought I had killed him. (I didn't).

Nothing. Sadly you dont even earn its nest loot if you smite bird itself. Theoretically achivement should be given (at least from how its named) for killing, but even that i got just for shooing it away in first time encounter.
