they decided to give YOUR FIRST HERO IT
meaning all that money item's and stuff you need early in game while your figuring ♥♥♥♥ out has about a 50/50 shot of being stolen
but yeah it would be nice if they didn't steal jounral entries
Definitely. The first Antiquarian I got in the coach had Klepto. After a bit of laughter and tears, I got ridda' that ♥♥♥♥ ASAP before I used her once.
Anyway, yeah, it's a bit cheap. I actually was really pissed off when Reynauld stole two! of my journals in my first playthrough (when they were still really, really rare).
Once had an Antiquarian that "acquired" Kleptomania and Rabies whilst never getting hit once in the Cove.
Just this rabid, foaming-at-the-mouth, stealing ♥♥♥♥♥ woman.
Yeah I love the Abomination. Awesome concept, awesome realized design. That Backer did good on us fellow players. Abomination seems so feeble, pathetic in his human form, yet still potentially dangerous. When transformed, it's like having a mini-boss in your party. Love it love it love it.
Don't forget Calm, or religious characters getting Faithless.
Love how little thought was put into the RNG for the Quirks. It's great when you get things like Torn Rotator (-CRT for Melee Skills, hahahaha) locked in on your Arbalest. Or when you get a character that has Enlightened, Deviant Tastes, and Known Cheat locked-in AT THE SAME TIME (literally prevents that character from getting any truly horrible negative quirks locked-in). Those are the best.
No thought-at-all put into the Quirk system. It's literally every positive/negative Quirk on a list, and any-and-all in any combination can be added to your character. Hilarious.
A better system, would be one that had "If x, then y." statements dicating how the Quirks were met out. Example: "If character receives Faithless, then they can't get/have God Fearing."
I don't understand how "Faithless" is bad for religious characters, except for RP.
Going to let you think long-and-hard on that statement.
