Short
2 shovel's
3 of basically every buffing and healing item (Exp: holy water medical herb's and bandages)
1 key
8 rations
and 8 torches
medium:
24 rations: reason this is so i can feast Which reduces stress and heals a lot of the party
4 shovels
around 9 tourches
5 of every healing item
and 3 key's
keep in mind each of my avarage are extreamly heafty on the gold and i'm not the best player so i could be doing ♥♥♥♥ very wrong
6-8 torches for a short.
16 or so torches for a medium explore, 12 for a medium kill quest.
20 torches for a long explore, 16 for a long kill.
Shovels depend on where you're going. 2/3/4 for weald or cove, maybe 1/2/3 for ruins, and it seems warrens have almost given up on blockage checks. Used to be 2/3/4 everywhere but it changed.
Bandages for non-apprentice cove runs, unless you've got a plague doctor. Also herbs for cove, in case of coral or getting hit by those fiendish traps.
I don't know if a key is still worth bringing now that secret rooms are less common. Used to always keep one in medium or longs, but even then I'd frequently not find it.
I rarely bother with curios because my inventory is going to be maxed out anyway...except on shorter apprentice runs where the return on the price isn't worthwhile due to less loot dropping on average.
Short:
8 Food
8 Torches
1-2 Shovels
1 Key
Medium:
16 Food
12 Torches
2-3 Shovels
1 Key
Long:
24 Food
16 Torches
3 Shovels

Don't bother with other supplies unless I'm looking for specifics things in the area. I mostly leave other things alone since I always have PD on hand.
IF Warren, always grab 2-3 herbs for tasty grog buff or extra food, and maybe extra 2 torches for negative-perk cleansing curio.
IF Weald, 1 holy water for freebie positive quirk.
IF Coves, extra shovel and 1-2 herbs for negative-perk cleansing curio.
IF Ruins, an extra 2 keys and 2 holy waters for statue buff or fountain/booth stress heal.
DD:
All food
All bandages
All anti-venom
All holy water
Just a quick correction:
Anti-venom is useless in the first dungeon
Just use this, i approve of it^^
8 Torches
8 Food
2 Shovels
2 Keys
1 of everything else
Multiply that by 2 for medium and 3 for long missions. And this is overkill 90% of missions I'm dumping provisions as my inventory fills up, but I want to play with all the curios I find, you can propably get by with a lot less than I do, if you are short on gold
8 Food
6 Torches
2 Shovels
3 Keys (incase finding a hidden room)
+ an Item to open each curio for that specific dungeon
