Can't find Ancestors Candle

I was grinding with level ones in the Warrens for the Ancestor's Candle, the last trinket I could have possibly gotten from the Shambler. I originally had the candle but lost it after retreating from Wilbur, who killed my hellion with the candle, after killing the Swine God. In the levell 1 Warrens, I had just killed a Shambler and expected the candle to drop but I got litterally nothing. I am not sure if the candle is region specific or if I need to kill a higher level Shambler, does anyone have an answer?

Can ancestral trinkets get taken by the Shrieker?

maybe you can retrieve it from the shrieker? even if not, it's not the end of the world. Candle can basically be swapped out for a berserk charm. You lose the dodge boost and have a very small acc drop, but for the most part berserk charm is a pinch better for the higher speed boost.

Yeah, you probably need to do the Shrieker quest to get it back if you lost it in battle.

I know they can get stolen via Thief in the Night.

Just destroyed a Champion Shrieker's nest, got a bunch of Puzzling Trapsahedrons. Aboslutely no trinkets to be seen.

It depends on which shrieker quest that was, if the "thief in the knight" or "shrieker's prize" one. Only the first will grant you lost trinkets, if i'm not wrong.

The trinkets are quest rewards, not things that go into your inventory like the Trapezohedrons.

The only quest reward I obtained was the claw.

The event name was Shrieker's Prize.

Oh yeah, Shrieker's Prize is a different quest entirely. Don't worry; there's no time limit on the stolen trinkets so the Shrieker will appear as a quest again until you do it.

even if you let him steal your trinkets multiple times, they will all be stored, and you will retrieve 8 random ones from the pool each time you beat the "thief in the night" quest.
